This app is intended solely for the personal documentation of your INR values and medication. It is not intended for the detection, monitoring, prediction, prognosis, treatment, or alleviation of diseases. It does not replace medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Never make decisions about your medication or therapy based on this app alone. For any health-related questions, concerns, or changes in your values, always consult your doctor or another qualified medical professional.
Not a Medical Device
The app is intended by the provider exclusively for recording and displaying the values you enter yourself. It does not perform any medical evaluation, calculation, interpretation, or diagnosis, and it does not provide any therapy or dosage recommendations.
According to the provider's intended purpose, the app is therefore not a medical device within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2017/745 (Medical Device Regulation, MDR). The German Medical Devices Operator Ordinance (Medizinprodukte-Betreiberverordnung, MPBetreibV) consequently does not apply to this app; the app is not subject to the corresponding regulatory requirements.
Not a Digital Health Application (DiGA)
The app is not a Digital Health Application (Digitale Gesundheitsanwendung, DiGA) within the meaning of Section 33a of the German Social Code Book V (SGB V). It is not listed in the DiGA directory of the Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices (BfArM), cannot be prescribed by a physician, and does not offer any medical functions or diagnoses. Further information on Digital Health Applications is provided by the German Federal Ministry of Health.
Your Responsibility
You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the data you enter. Reminders (notifications) may be delayed or suppressed by the operating system — do not rely solely on the app's reminder function for taking your medication or performing your measurements.
Back up your data regularly using the export function. When the app is uninstalled or you switch devices, the locally stored data is deleted and cannot be recovered.
Liability
The provider is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence as well as — including in cases of slight negligence — for damages arising from injury to life, body, or health.
In cases of slightly negligent breach of essential contractual obligations (obligations whose fulfilment is a prerequisite for the proper use of the app and on whose observance you may regularly rely), liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this kind of use. Any further liability is excluded.
Any liability under the German Product Liability Act (Produkthaftungsgesetz) remains unaffected.
Warranty, Software Errors, Operational Disruptions
The permanent availability or error-free operation of the app cannot be technically guaranteed.
Despite careful development, programming errors or technical malfunctions cannot be entirely ruled out.
The provider does not warrant that the app will remain permanently compatible with future versions of operating systems or devices.
